West Deptford Committee, Zoning Board, Emergency Services Set to Meet

West Deptford's 2012 budget will be introduced amid a busy week of meetings, as three different boards meet.

The West Deptford township committee and department heads have spent the past several weeks hashing out portions of the budget, and Mayor Ray Chintall said “a very preliminary” version will be introduced at the 7 p.m. work session Thursday.

With uncertainty about what will happen with the and contingencies on the revenue side of the budget, Chintall and to the budget after its introduction.

Between the introduction and final adoption, there will be a budget work session scheduled, though Chintall said that meeting’s date has yet to be determined.

The zoning board and emergency services council are also set to meet during the week. The zoning board will have at least one item on the agenda when it meets Tuesday night at 7 p.m., an application for an oversized garage on Fourth Avenue.

The emergency services council meets Monday night at 7:30 p.m. An agenda for that meeting wasn’t immediately available.
