West Deptford Sees 2 More Cases Of Coronavirus
There were 38 new cases and 11 new deaths related to coronavirus announced in Gloucester County on Tuesday.
WEST DEPTFORD, NJ — Two West Deptford residents — a 64-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman — were among 38 new positive cases of new coronavirus reported in Gloucester County on Tuesday. Trace investigations are underway in all new cases.
As of Tuesday, Gloucester County has conducted 6,365 total tests. Of these cases, 4,878 have come back negative and 17 are pending. Three Gloucester County cases have been transferred out of county. There are 1,470 cases of the coronavirus countywide.
There were also an additional 11 fatalities due to the coronavirus reported in Gloucester County on Tuesday. Gloucester County now has 63 confirmed deaths.

- The 54th patient death was an 89-year-old female for Deptford.
- The 55th patient death was an 85-year-old male from Deptford.
- The 56th patient death was an 85-year-old female from Deptford.
- The 57th patient death was a 75-year-old female from Deptford.
- The 58th patient death was an 89-year-old male from Greenwich.
- The 59th patient death was a 95-year-old female from Deptford.
- The 60th patient death was an 85-year-old male from Woodbury.
- The 61st patient death was an 85-year-old male from Deptford.
- The 62nd patient death was an 83-year-old male from Washington Twp.
- The 63rd patient death was a 64-year-old male from Deptford.
At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases.
