West Deptford's Senior Leaguers came in to the District 15 finals with an upset in mind over undefeated Paulsboro. Into the fifth inning, it seemed possible. The Eagles built a 2-1 lead through two innings and clung to a 3-2 lead in the fifth, but Paulsboro wasn't about to quit. With a late surge, Paulsboro flipped things around to take the first game of the three-game series, 7-4. The pressure is now on West Deptford in the second game, which is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Union Field Monday night.
