Woman In Critical Condition After Getting Hit By Pickup Truck In South Jersey: Police
Authorities are seeking witnesses as the crash investigation continues.
FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, NJ — A woman is in critical condition after getting hit by a pickup truck in Gloucester County, officials said.
The pickup truck struck the woman in the roadway at about 7:45 p.m. Wednesday on the 400 block of Delsea Drive in Franklin Township, authorities said.
The driver was traveling south on Delsea Drive when he hit the pedestrian in the vehicle's lane of travel, according to the initial investigation from police.

At the scene, police found the pedestrian lying in the roadway. She was brought to Cooper University Hospital in Camden and is in critical condition as of Friday afternoon.
The pickup truck driver sustained minor minor injuries and was brought to Inspira Hospital in Elmer, police said.
