Woman Dies In 1-Car Crash On Route 55 In Gloucester County: Cops
The woman was thrown from her car after leaving the highway and crashing into trees Tuesday night.
DEPTFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ - A 26-year-old woman was killed when she lost control of her car on a busy highway Tuesday night, police said.
The woman was thrown from her car after she lost control on Route 55 in Deptford Tuesday night, according to New Jersey State Police. The car left the road and struck several trees at about 9 p.m.
She was pronounced deceased on the scene. Her identity has not yet been released, pending notification of next-of-kin. No one else was in the car at the time of the crash.
