$150K Winning Powerball Ticket Sold At QuickChek In Union County

The Powerball jackpot is now at about $200 million.

CRANFORD, NJ — While no tickets matched the winning numbers in the Wednesday, Jan. 1, Powerball drawing, two players in Union and Essex Counties had a very happy New Year.

A player at the Quick Chek #174 on 370 North Ave East in Cranford hit the multiplier to win $150,000.

Another player won $50,000 at the Nutley Newstand, 251 Franklin Ave., Nutley.

Monday’s numbers were 06, 12, 28, 35, 66. The Powerball was 26 and the Power Play was 3X.

The jackpot is now at about $200 Million ($90.7 million cash value). The next drawing is on Saturday.

Double Play Results

The Double Play drawing is an additional drawing for players who opted in for the Double Play feature on their tickets, which can win as much as a $10 million cash prize. No ticket matched the winning numbers Wednesday of 08, 10, 25, 33, 66. The Double Play ball was 20.
