3 Meal Changes to Suppress Hunger

You know you have to eat less to lose weight. You have the determination, but once your diet begins the hunger will make things challenging. Here are a few ideas for your meals to keep you full and stick to your fat busting diet!

Eat More Protein- This is a given for building muscle and burning fat, but protein is also very satiating. Include at least 20 grams of protein every time you eat (even with snacks) and you’ll likely be fuller for longer.

Eat More Fiber- This is not only important for gut and digestion health, but fiber is also very filling. Add a rich fiber source (most fruits and vegetables) to breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and you can fill up on fewer calories.

Eat Fewer, Larger Meals- Many people have heard that small, frequent meals throughout the day boost metabolism and help fat loss. Unfortunately this isn’t how the body works. Frequent meals can actually increase hunger, because your body gets accustomed to so many feedings. Try allocating your total food into only 3 or 4 meals for the day. If you eat less often, your body will adapt, and you won't have the urge to eat so often throughout the day.
