3 More Westfield Homes Designated Historical Landmarks
This brings the total to 16 Westfield homes to be designated as historical landmarks since Mayor Shelley Brindle took office.

WESTFIELD, NJ — Three more Westfield homes were designated as historical landmarks by the Town Council.
Three ordinances designating properties at 218 West Dudley Avenue, 248 West Dudley Avenue, and 266 West Dudley Avenue as historic landmarks were unanimously introduced on Tuesday night.
"It is a very fitting way to mark the end of Historic Preservation Month," said Mayor Shelley Brindle.

These designations bring the total up to 16 homes since Brindle has been in office. In 2023, Brindle shared the total was up to 13 historical designations - the most in town history.
"It really reflects our commitment to making historic preservation a priority," said Brindle.

The ordinances will now go to the Planning Board for review before returning to the Council for adoption.
