The three story, 31-unit residential apartment building will include ground floor parking and five affordable housing units

Westfield, NJ – A new luxury apartment building is coming to Westfield.
The three story, 31-unit residential apartment building which will include ground floor parking and five affordable housing units was approved by the Westfield Planning Board at Monday night’s meeting.
“Monday night was the final stamp that took us three years to get to this point,” Jeff Zoraian told Patch.

Zoraian is currently the owner of Westfield Auto Wash at 339 West Broad Street. This new project will replace the car wash.
“I owned the car wash for 33 years now and it has been a great road,” Zoraian told Patch. “We have great customers but our buildings are starting to get to end of their life expectancy. Thirty-three years is a long time and I am ready for a change and something different. This will be great for the town and traffic in the area.”

The apartment building will be constructed at 339 W. Broad St. and 415 Rahway Avenue on Block 3001, Lots 1 and 6.
“The luxury apartments are very spacious, they will truly be unlike any other development you’ve seen so far,” Zoraian said.
The one bedroom apartments will include 1 and ½ baths and a computer room and will vary in size from 1,050 sq. ft. to 1,350 sq. ft. The teo bedroom apartments will be between 1,400 and 1,700 sq. ft.
Zoraian plans to break ground by the end of the year and hopes to start renting the units by the end of 2017. Prices for the units have not been determined yet.
“We are very proud of this beautiful project,” Zoraian said.
