WESTFIELD, NJ — A new Japanese restaurant recently held a ribbon-cutting in Downtown Westfield.
Kome Omakase opened at 407 South Ave W, Westfield.
Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce called the restaurant "a unique sushi dinner experience."
"Their set-course menu offers a one-of-a-kind dining experience, with each dish prepared right in front of you. From the presentation to the fresh sushi, it's an experience you won't want to miss!" said the Chamber of Commerce.
Kome Omakase specializes in seasonal seafood and carefully aged fish.

With no fixed menu, each Omakase experience is thoughtfully created around the freshest seasonal ingredients available that day. Through careful aging, selected fish develops deeper flavor and texture, revealing another side of its natural character," according to komeomakase.com.
The restuarant it led by a chef with 20 years of sushi industry experience, including experience working in a Michelin restaurant.
