Bath Junkie Celebrates 3rd Anniversary With Day of Discounts

Bath Junkie owner Katie Cantor can't believe it's been three years since she opened the doors to her North Avenue business.

The 25 year old, who hails from New Orleans, said while she hadn't planned on becoming an entrepreneur, she couldn't be happier with how things have turned out.

After graduating from college at the peak of the recession, Cantor put together a business plan and applied for small business loan. Three months later, the former photography major opened a franchise of the Arkansas-based company that had given her her first job. From applying for permits to painting the interior, Cantor became a hands-on entrepreneur and hasn't looked back. 

To celebrate, Cantor and crew will host a daylong event full of discounts and specials on Saturday, Oct. 27. The anniversary party will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will include the unveiling of the store's new look.
