Westfield's AddamsFest To Have Beer Garden
Charlie's Ale Garden will be held on Quimby and Elm Streets on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 5 to 11 p.m. and include live entertainment.

WESTFIELD, NJ — A beer garden was announced as an added feature to Westfield's upcoming AddamsFest.
Charlie’s Ale Garden, which will be sponsored Harvest Restaurant Group which owns Addams Tavern, will be held on Quimby and Elm Streets on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 5 to 11 p.m. and include live entertainment.
Tickets to enter the ale garden will be $10 if purchased in advance on the AddamsFest website later this month, and $15 on the day of the event, pending availability. Pricing includes the entry wristband and commemorative cup, with beer and wine sold separately. Entrants must be 21 and provide proof of age.

Entertainment will be provided by several local bands including: Thingama Jigs, 3rd Gear, Little Secret, and Shots and Earplugs from 5 to 9 p.m. The Counterfeiters, an 80/90s cover band, will play from 9 to 11 p.m.
Lyft is also partnering with AddamsFest to offer beer garden visitors a ride home. Lyft will be offering promotions to AddamsFest attendees, including free and reduced fares.

In addition to the ale garden, other AddamsFest activities include:
- Chill Out on Quimby, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Inspired by Charles Addams’ high school nickname, “Chil,” on Quimby and Elm Street there will be casual outdoor activities, live music, games of giant chess, street performers, and al fresco dining.
- Movie screenings at The Rialto: The Addams Family Movie and The Rocky Horror Picture Show (screening times to be announced).
Tickets for all events will be available later this month on the AddamsFest at addamsfest.com.
AddamsFest is a new town-wide celebration, honoring Westfield native Charles Addams and his penchant
for the macabre. This event will include family-friendly events, lectures, exhibits, and film screenings.
