Blue Devils Baseball Beats Hillsborough

Kerr hits for cycle.

Timothy Younger and Dan Kerr each went 4 for 4 as the Blue Devils pounded out 12 hits defeating the Hillsborough Raiders 15-2 in a games halted after 5 innings by the 10-run mercy rule.

Dan Kerr, who has yet to make an out this year going 7-7 over the first two games, hit for the cycle and had 7 RBIs. Kerr got the Blue Devils going on the first pitch he saw with a 2 out 2 run homer to deep to center field.

In the third inning the Blue Devils batted around sending 15 men to the plate scoring 10 runs. James Barry, Younger, and James O’Rourke started things going with singles. AJ Murray then drew a 4 pitch walk in front of Kerr who wasted little time rocketing the second pitch for a bases clearing 3 run triple.
