4 Accidents, With Injuries, Stop Traffic On 4 Major N.J. Roadways

Four accidents, some with injuries, halted traffic Thursday on four major New Jersey roadways, transportation officials said.

Here is where they are:

• An accident on the Garden State Parkway in Clark at Exit 137 slowed traffic to a crawl. No information was available at press time.
• A similar accident also stopped traffic on I-287 in Harding.
• A fluid spill was reported on Route 1 northbound from the Trenton-Morrisville Bridge to south of Olden Ave in Trenton, shutting down the roadway.
• An accident with injuries was reported on Route 1&9 Truck Route northbound between Duncan and Sip avenues in Jersey City. Right lane was blocked.
