Finally, on April 28th, Peter Hannon will present on the mission of DKMS, an international non-profit dedicated to the fight against blood cancer and blood disorders. The organization focuses on increasing public awareness, improving treatment access, and expanding the global registry of potential stem cell donors. Peter joined the DKMS professional team in March 2025, but his connection to the cause began nearly a decade earlier when he became a blood stem cell donor in 2016. That rewarding personal experience inspired him to dedicate his career to the DKMS mission: ensuring that every patient searching for a compatible match receives a second chance at life.

Summit Area Old Guard is a social, educational, and recreational organization that serves men of retirement age.
