How to Make the Most of your Next Museum Visit at Westfield Library
Darrin Owens, President of the Westfield Art Association (WAA), will present “How to Make the Most of Your Next Museum Visit.” Thanks to the Friends of the Library, the library has close to 30 museum passes that Westfield patrons can borrow for free. Mr. Owens committed himself full time to creating art in 2022 after working 35 years in NYC for an actuarial firm. He converted his garage to an art studio and embarked on a course of self-education. Mr. Owen studied artistic anatomy under Frank Porcu and oil figure painting under Leonid Gervitz at the Art Students League of New York, and he pursued figure and portrait drawing under Joel Tidey at the Visual Arts Center of NJ.
