Meet Ruth Chan! She's the author of the children's book Thank You, Neighbor.
Thank You, Neighbor is the featured book of our StoryWalk in Downtown Westfield - Be sure to pick up a map and explore our neighborhood to read her exciting story. StoryWalk runs from September 12 - 28, and it's a great opportunity for families to stroll through town and read the pages of the book displayed in the windows of participating businesses.
We are happy to host Ruth for an interactive slideshow, reading of Thank You, Neighbor!, interactive drawing demonstration and Q&A!

About the author: Ruth Chan spent her childhood tobogganing in Canada, her teens living in and exploring China, a number of years studying art and education, and a decade working with youth and families in underserved communities.
