Charge Into Summer At The Westfield Area YMCA’s Free Healthy Kids Day
CHARGE INTO SUMMER AT THE WESTFIELD AREA YMCA'S FREE HEALTHY KIDS DAY

On Saturday, April 29th from 1:00-4:00 p.m., the Westfield Area YMCA will join more than 1,600 YMCA’s nationwide in hosting YMCA Healthy Kids Day. Open to the public, this free event offers an afternoon of fun, engaging and creative activities that promote healthy eating, healthy habits, and safe and healthy neighborhoods.
Free activities at the Main Y Facility, 220 Clark Street will include:
· Inflatable obstacle course

· Arts and crafts

· Fun fitness challenges
· Sports Safety information with Children’s Specialized Hospital
· Union County Sheriff K-9 Unit
· Nutritionist from ShopRite
· Financial Health Information
· Photo/fingerprint child safety ID cards with Transamerica
· Water Safety Table
· Westfield Rescue Squad Ambulance Tours
· Camp open house
· Community Partners activities information
· Healthy Treats and other giveaways
· Membership, camp and program special offers
New this year, from 4:00-5:00pm, the Y will host a water safety event. Bring your bathing suit, as you will receive hands-on instruction on staying safe around a pool this summer.
