Cigar Fundraiser To Benefit Memorial Scholarship For Plainfield Firefighter
The proceeds from this year's fundraiser will help create the scholarship in memory of Marques Hudson, who died battling a three-alarm fire.
PLAINFIELD, NJ — The Plainfield Firefighters Foundation and FMBA Local 7/207 are hosting its Third Annual "All Fired Up" cigar gathering fundraiser.
This year's proceeds will help the Plainfield Fire Department start their Memorial Scholarship Fund in Honor of Our Brother Marques Hudson, who died battling a three-alarm fire in January.
It will be held on Sunday, Oct. 13 from noon to 5 p.m. at Stage House Tavern at 366 Park Ave. in Scotch Plains.

Tickets will include a selection of cigars given upon entry, a buffet of food from Stage house, and open bar. There will be a DJ, NFL Football on the big screens, door prizes/giveaways, plenty of raffles, and 50/50 (which was more than $600 last year).
Any donations/sponsors made aside from buying tickets can be used for tax write offs as the fire company is a 501(c)(3) organization.
