Elm Street Bridge Work To Impact Traffic In Westfield
Construction on the underground bridge over a stream on Elm Street at Orchard Street will begin on Tuesday in Westfield.
WESTFIELD, NJ — Construction on the underground bridge over a stream on Elm Street at Orchard Street will begin on Tuesday in Westfield and may impact traffic and parking.
Union County is overseeing the replacement of the underground bridge where the first phase of this project will involve utility work.
The aging natural gas mains will be replaced and upgraded on Elm Street between Stop & Shop and E. Broad Street.
