Join us on October 14, 2012 at Oak Ridge Park in Clark for our third annual 5K/ 2 Mile Walk-a-thon/ Kids Fun Run. Registration begins at 8am, start times 9:30 am-5K, 9:45am-2 Mile Walk, 10:30am-Kids Fun Run. Participants who choose to raise money for this charity may create a free personal webpage at www.firstgiving.com/pauljacksonfund. Participants raising $100 or more run/walk for free. The top 5 fundraisers will receive a Flip Video Camera!
The Paul Jackson Fund is a charity that provides assistance to families in financial crisis due to catastrophic illness or disability. The Fund was started in 1991 to assist Paul Jackson who became paralyzed from a surgery to remove a spinal cord tumor. After he no longer needed the assistance of The Fund, Paul took control of it, and assisted those most in need. After a courageous battle with cancer, Paul passed away in 2009.
