Young Adult Author Visits The Town Book Store

The Town Book Store in Westfield will host a Meet & Greet with Sean Waller author of the young adult novel Sick Boy on Saturday, October 22, 2011 from 11-1 PM.  Tim Levine is a popular 8th grader who is ready for the best year of his life!  He is trying out for the Varsity baseball team. Two girls want to date him.  Then he is diagnosed with cancer and his whole life changes.  Sick Boy takes you on his journey from diagnosis through treatment and on to recovery.   

Author Sean Waller, a childhood cancer survivor, was diagnosed at age 12 with rhabdomyosarcoma. He credits Memorial Sloan-Kettering Hospital in New York City for saving his life. He currently lives in Westfield and teaches 5th grade in Berkeley Heights. Sean is married and has 2 daughters. Sick Boy is his debut novel.
