Graphic Novels for Adults at Westfield Memorial Library

Adults can now check out beautifully illustrated graphic novels-fiction & non-fiction. We also have Value Line, a new financial database.

(January 28, 2019) – The Westfield Memorial Library has two major new additions to its collection and website: graphic novels for adults and a new financial database. The library is located at 550 East Broad Street.

Comprised of fiction and non-fiction titles, the graphic novel collection gives adults the chance to read history, biography, classics, memoirs and fiction in comic book format.

Some of the titles are Anne Frank’s Diary, To Kill a Mockingbird, Anthem, Broken Glory: The Final Years of Robert F. Kennedy and Charles Darwin’s On the Origin of the Species.

"Graphic novels for adults are so rich in illustration and text,” said Jen Schulze, head of Adult Services. “They are really sophisticated in the way they deliver storylines, concepts, and information in a highly visual way."

The graphic novels can be checked out for 28 days. They are located at the top of the stairs on the library’s second floor on shelves outside of the Reference Office.
