Indoor Graduation Ceremony Under Consideration
Graduation set-up begins outside, while talk focuses on possible indoor ceremony.
Set-up for an outdoor graduation ceremony started at on Tuesday, while talk continued that the ceremony may be moved inside to the , due to weather.
During conversation with members prior to Tuesday evening's board meeting, Schools Superintendent Margaret Dolan said she is continuing to monitor weather forecasts for Thursday. She said the current weather data she has reviewed has a 60-percent chance of thunderstorms for graduation.
She told BOE members that with a high chance for thunderstorms, she is inclined to move graduation into the Armory. Dolan indicated that she has until early Thursday morning to make a final decision on the location of graduation.

The back lawn of the high school has been set with the stage for graduation, while piles of chairs have been scattered around the lawn. Set-up is expected to continue on Wednesday.
If graduation is moved inside, graduates will have four tickets to distribute to friends, relatives and other wellwishers to watch the ceremony. The outside ceremony is open to unlimited attendance. The was moved inside the Armory, following a series of rain storms left the ground too soggy for an outdoor cermony.
