Instagram Video Shows Alleged Vandals Damaging Cars At Linden Movie Theater

Breaking: "Yo, he cracked that sh-t," says one of the suspects filming after another man is seen rolling onto the hood of a parked vehicle.

LINDEN, NJ — A video posted on Instagram shows a group of alleged vandals jumping on multiple vehicles and damaging them while parked at the AMC theater in Linden early Wednesday morning.

Linden Police responded to the AMC Aviation 12 theater, 1200 S. Stiles St. on Wednesday just after 12:30 a.m. after a number of patrons left the theater and reported the damage to their vehicles.

Police were alerted to a video, which was posted on Instagram, that appears to show the suspects as they damaged the vehicles earlier that evening.

The video starts off with one of the suspects saying "This m--her f---ing video is called 'Smash Cars' " before two men begin jumping and rolling on multiple vehicles parked in the lot.

Towards the end of the video, one of the suspects is seen rolling onto the hood of a car where you can hear the windshield cracking. The person filming can be heard saying "Yo, he cracked that sh-t."

Detectives responded to the scene Tuesday night and immediately took over the investigation.

"We believe that additional vehicles may have been damaged during the incident that have yet to be reported to police," Linden Police said.
