A winter weather advisory will be in effect on Friday for the Union County area.
UNION COUNTY, NJ — Both Kean University and Union College of Union County are switching to remote on Friday due to the impending winter snowstorm.
Union College
Due to inclement weather, all UCNJ Union College of Union County, New Jersey services, including online registration, will be offered remotely on Friday, January 19, 2024. College campus buildings will be closed. Classes, to the extent possible, will transition to remote live – in synchronous mode via Webex. Instructors who are not familiar with Webex need to communicate with their students asynchronously and provide an instructional activity and assignment via Canvas. All instructors are also asked to communicate their plans directly with their students via Canvas. Most employees will work remotely; only essential personnel, as directed by their supervisor, should report to a campus.
