Liam's Room Cuts Ribbon on Second Facility, Universal Rehab to Open in Root Building
Here's a sneak peek at the stories Westfield Patch will be covering this week.

Liam’s Room, a non-profit organization created by Westfield residents Lisa and Peter McNamara in loving memory of their son, Liam Hayden McNamara, seeks to provide a “home away from home” atmosphere for children who must make frequent trips in and out of the hospital due to potentially life-limiting illnesses.
In 2009, the McNamaras cut the ribbon on the first Liam's Room at Overlook Hospital. On Wednesday, they will hold a ceremony in honor of a second room opening at Morristown Medical Center as the non-profit continues its commitment to building rooms that are comfortable, peaceful and equipped with home-like amenities, as well as educating hospital staff in the field of pediatric palliative care.
Universal Rehabilitation will open this fall in the newly-constructed Root Building at 349 South Ave. W. Gallery U, a boutique featuring jewelry and other works of art, many of which are hand-crafted by the residents, will occupy the first floor. The Westfield location represents the merger of Universal Rehab's Red Bank and Montclair facilities.
Pegasus Sporting Goods has a position available that's just right for a college student who takes evening classes. Check back with Patch for additional details.
