According to Allen McGinley, Library Director, the library will be closed January 15-16. The library was previously scheduled to be closed for the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday on Monday, and this closure will be extended through Tuesday. During this time, the library will complete several critical building improvements, including:

  • HVAC duct cleaning to reduce pollutants and improve air quality;
  • replacement of the ADA automatic door openers which have been out of service at times during the past few years; and
  • repainting of the library's main meeting room, which is difficult to accomplish due to its frequent use for library programs and community meetings

The library apologizes for any inconvenience these improvements will cause but look forward to welcoming patrons back to the library on Wednesday, January 17 at 9:30am.
