Major Law Enforcement Recruitment Fair Hosted By Union County Prosecutor's Office
This fair aims to connect job seekers with opportunities in law enforcement, legal practice, forensics, and public administration.

UNION, NJ — The Union County Prosecutor’s Office, in partnership with Kean University, will host its annual recruitment event for justice and public safety careers on Wednesday, March 11.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Harwood Arena located at Kean University in Union. This fair aims to connect job seekers with opportunities in law enforcement, legal practice, forensics, and public administration.
More than 130 federal, state, county, and municipal agencies are expected to attend, including 10 federal agencies, 26 state and university agencies, 25 county agencies, 65 municipal agencies, and seven law enforcement organizations.

Recruiters will be seeking candidates for roles such as law enforcement officers, assistant prosecutors, paralegals, forensic scientists, lab technicians, crime scene examiners, and administrative support staff.
Union County Prosecutor William Daniel stated, "As we look toward the future, we are seeking a new generation of professionals who realize that justice is a team effort."

He also said, "This event is not only for those who want to wear a badge; it is for the legal minds, the forensic experts, and the administrative specialists who want to serve their community."
UCPO Chief of Detectives Dr. Harvey Barnwell noted, "The badge represents more than just authority; it symbolizes trust, service, and a commitment to our community."
Barnwell added, "As law enforcement evolves, so must our approach to recruitment."
Kean University President Lamont O. Repollet, Ed.D., said, "Kean University is proud to once again partner with the Union County Prosecutor’s Office to host this important event."
Repollet also stated, "The recruitment fair creates valuable opportunities for our criminal justice students and others interested in public service to connect with agencies and take the next step toward meaningful careers in law enforcement."
The event is supported by the Union County Board of County Commissioners, the Union County Police Chiefs’ Association, and legislative leaders.
Union County Commissioner Chairman Joseph C. Bodek said, "When we invest in recruiting the next generation of law enforcement and public servants, we are investing in safer neighborhoods and stronger relationships between officers and residents."
Winfield Police Chief Frank Mazzarella, President of the Union County Police Chiefs' Association, stated, "The Union County Law Enforcement Recruitment Fair is an invaluable opportunity for those considering a career in public service to meet officers from across our Local, State, and federal partners and learn about the profession firsthand, and explore the many paths available in modern policing."
Senate President Nick Scutari said, "I want to commend Kean University and the Union County Prosecutor’s Office for getting actively engaged in the recruitment of law enforcement officers who will serve our communities."
Senator Joseph Cryan stated, "The Union County Prosecutor’s Office Recruitment Fair offers a valuable chance for individuals who want to make a difference through public service."
Attendees are encouraged to dress professionally and bring multiple copies of their resumes.
