Man Arrested In Thanksgiving Death Of Elizabeth Woman: Prosecutors
Gerard Manning was considered armed and dangerous following the killing at an Elizabeth apartment complex.

ELIZABETH, NJ — Authorities have arrested a man wanted in connection with the death of a 30-year-old Elizabeth woman on Thanksgiving Day, prosecutors said.
Gerard Manning, 30, of Elizabeth, was arrested Friday following a day-long search, the Union County Prosecutor's Office announced. Manning is accused of killing 30-year-old Victoria Myers at an Elizabeth apartment complex Thursday.

Authorities charged Manning with first-degree murder, second-degree possession of a weapon, second-degree possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose and second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
Manning is currently being held at the Union County jail.

According to prosecutors, authorities were called to Mravlag Manor early Thursday for a report of a homicide. When authorities arrived, they found Myers dead at the scene.
The investigation into Myers' death is ongoing.
