More Body Parts Wash Ashore In Union County
After a man's torso was found floating in Union County waters, more body parts have since washed up.

UNION COUNTY, NJ — More body parts have washed ashore in Union County since a man's torso was found floating in Elizabeth waters a couple of weeks ago, said authorities.
"There have been body parts recovered since the torso," said Union County Prosecutor's Office Spokesman Micheal Sheets.
The body parts and the torso were found on the waterfront near South Front Street in Elizabeth.

Sheets said authorities are still waiting on further investigation and testing to determine if the torso and other body parts are from the same person and who that person may be.
No other specifics were released at this time.

The torso was initially found on May 16 shortly before 5 p.m. when Elizabeth Police Officers went to South FrontStreet on the waterfront and found a Caucasian male torso floating in the area where the Arthur Kill and Elizabeth River converge, said Union County Prosecutor William A. The torso was recovered and taken to the Union County Medical Examiner’s Office, which determined the unidentified man’s manner of death to be a homicide.
The homicide investigation is being jointly led by the Union County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Task Force and the Elizabeth Police Department.
