Outdoor Music Festival, Food Trucks: Things To Do This Weekend In Union County

UNION COUNTY, NJ — Looking for something to do this weekend? Check out this list of goings-on in and around Union County for June 4 and 5.

Garwood Rocks 2022

The 8th Annual Garwood Rocks! Car Show & Street Fair will take place on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in downtown Garwood with a live music stage, food trucks, vendors, classic cars, beer and wine garden, shopping and more at Center Street in Garwood.

Shedfest

Raritan Headwaters’ Outdoor Music Festival will be held on Saturday at Fairview Farm Wildlife Preserve, 2121 Larger Cross Road, Bedminster, from 2 to 7 p.m. (Rain or shine)

Guests can bring their own chair and/or blanket and enjoy food trucks, beer, cider, hayrides, kids activities, and games. Pets not permitted.

Branchburg Food Truck & Music Fest

The festival will be held on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at White Oak Park, 235 Baird Road, Branchburg. Admission: $ 5, kids under 5 are free.

The festival will include 20 gourmet food trucks, beer and sangria, live music, ax throwing, kid activities, pony rides, petting zoo, face painting, inflatables, knocker ball, games, sand art, spin art, and more.

Guests are invited to bring lawn chairs, pop-ups, and blankets. Dogs permitted.

All attendees are asked to bring a no perishable canned or boxed item to help support the food pantry.

Strawberry Festival & Artisan Fair

The event will be held on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at VonThurn Farms at 438 Route 57 West in Washington.

Middlesex Borough Touch-A-Truck!

An interactive, hands-on event hosted by the Middlesex Public Library and Middlesex Dept. of Public Works will be held on Saturday from noon to 3 p.m.

Kids and adults can hop behind the wheel and learn about dump trucks, garbage trucks, skid steers, loaders, and more.https://www.facebook.com/event...

There will also be STEM activities, crafts, DJ and music, face painting and henna tattoos, giveaways and prizes, community groups, ice cream truck, and refreshments.
