“MUST SEE LICE TV” OFFERS INCORRECT LICE INFORMATION”

“Must See TV” has a whole new meaning for us at Lice Lifters.  Over the past few years, Hollywood has entered the head lice game.  Episodes of The Family Guy, The Doctors and The Office each have conquered the topic of lice infestation as well as head lice treatment.  This begs the question, what head lice “facts” are they spreading?  Recently, on an episode of The Office, one of the lead characters, Pam, spreads lice to her colleagues in the paper company’s office.  Most cases of head lice are transferred through head-to-head contact, so the mere fact that so many staff members would contract lice, is a little farfetched.  The head checks on this episode were done visually with a plastic comb.   At Lice Lifters we always recommend a combing head check with a nit removal comb.  And lastly, the office staff treats their head lice infestation with mayonnaise.  We, at Lice LIfters, know that mayonnaise does not kill head lice.  People are under the misconception that lice can be smothered with this pantry staple – they cannot. Using their spiracles, lice can shut down their own respiratory system. It is a messy and ineffective treatment. Our products are PESTICIDE FREE  and WORK.
