Episodes of The Family Guy, The Doctors and The Office each have conquered the topic of lice infestation as well as head lice treatment. This begs the question, what head lice “facts” are they spreading? Recently, on an episode of The Office, one of the lead characters, Pam, spreads lice to her colleagues in the paper company’s office. Most cases of head lice are transferred through head-to-head contact, so the mere fact that so many staff members would contract lice, is a little farfetched.
