Netflix Film Production Activity To Impact Traffic In Westfield
Westfield Police sent out an alert about road closures due to filming taking place this week at a home on East Dudley Avenue.
WESTFIELD, NJ — Production work for a Netflix film will take place at a home on East Dudley Avenue between Lawrence and Elm, which could impact traffic in the area.
On April 8 to 10, this area will experience intermittent street closures on Tuesday between 6:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m., and Wednesday/Thursday between 7:30 a.m. and 11:30 p.m., said Westfield Police in an alert.
Detours will be in place with police on hand to help with traffic flow as needed.

In addition, equipment trucks may be parked on adjacent streets during filming hours.
Drivers in this area should expect some delays and plan accordingly.

Mayor Shelley Brindle announced on Friday that a major motion picture from Netflix will be shooting in Westfield.
Brindle noted that Netflix has asked the Town not to publicize any details about film prior to the release.
Filming dates:
- April 8 through 10, production will take place at a home on East Dudley Avenue between Lawrence Avenue and Elm Street
- April 16 to 18, production will take place at Wilson School and the immediate area (which is over spring break)
- April 18 production will take place on Sherwood Parkway
During this shoot, residents can also expect to see cars, trucks, and trailers in the Lord & Taylor parking lot. This is to used ensure that these additional vehicles – used for production equipment and catering – are not parked overnight in residential neighborhoods.
