New Dance Academy For All Ages, Abilities And Skill Levels Now Open At The Garwood Family Center YMCA

NEW DANCE ACADEMY FOR ALL AGES, ABILITIES AND SKILL LEVELS NOW OPEN AT THE GARWOOD FAMILY CENTER YMCA

The Garwood Family Center YMCA is pleased to announce the new Dance Academy is open for dance classes and officially located at 500 East Street in Garwood. The dance academy features a Marley floor, height-adjustable dance bars, mirrored walls and a professional sound system. The studio space boosts approximately 1,700 square feet which offers an appropriate and inviting environment to learn the art of dance.

Experienced dance instructors teach students from ages 3 through adult and of all abilities and skill levels. Students develop creativity and technique while becoming well-rounded and confident dancers. Adults are invited to dance the night away, exercise, meet new friends and have fun! A separate viewing area for parents and caregivers is available and features a floor-to-ceiling glass wall offering a comfortable space to watch their children learn and dance.

Programs for students ages 3-5 include Little Movers; Mini Ballet & Tap; Mini Jazz & Hip Hop.

Programs for students ages 6-teen include Intro 2 Dance; Ballet & Modern Novice; Jazz & Hip Hop Novice; Jazz & Hip Hop Intermediate; Musical Theatre Novice and Musical Theatre Intermediate.

Adult Programs include Jazz/Hip Hop; Ballet and Tap.

Dragonfly Dance and Stretch is available for young adults with special/adaptive needs.
