New Limited Edition Library Card by Kiyanna Lawrence now available at Library

Adults who are getting their first-time-ever library card can get the newest, limited edition card for free.

The Westfield Memorial Library is pleased to announce that its latest limited edition library card is now available. The library is located at 550 East Broad Street.

The library has collaborated with local artist Kiyanna Lawrence, the library’s last Artist-in-Residence, to design a “limited-edition” library card. The card is available now and free to anyone who signs up for a new library card.

Only 500 of these custom cards will be issued, and they will be available for a limited time only. Existing cardholders can purchase one as a replacement for $2.00, but all replacement cards will have new library card numbers.

In addition to creating art, she also leads mindfulness painting workshops, where she shares her passion for both art and mindfulness with others. These workshops provide a space for individuals to explore their creativity, cultivate mindfulness, and connect with their inner selves. Through guided breathing exercises and painting techniques, participants learn to harness the power of the present moment, finding harmony between mind, body, and spirit.
