The Wildcats are the American League Blue champions for 2011 in the Girls Softball League of Westfield. The team defeated the Huskies last week to capture the top honors.
The Wildcats finished the season 13-1. Team members are China Goodman, Jamie Knapp, Lea Moniyhan, Annie Contadina, Kayleigh Denner, Nicole Solazzo, Georgia Slater, Chrissy Harvey, Abby Liptack and Dana Diegelstein. Coaches are Mitch Slater and Mark Siegelstein.
