UNION COUNTY, NJ — The Union County Freeholder Board on Thursday night honored various agencies and individuals involved throughout the bombing incident earlier this month in Elizabeth and the apprehension of the terror suspect in Linden.
Those heroes helped find and defuse pipe bombs and arrest Ahmad Khan Rahami.
Rahami has been charged in connection with the Elizabeth bombs on Sept. 19. The discovery followed a pipe bomb explosion in a trash can at a charity 5K run for armed services veterans in Seaside Park on Saturday.
