Press Release: BOE Announces TV-36 Resources for Students and Parents

New health programming offered.

Beginning November 9, Westfield High School TV-36 will televise two health related presentations.   "Nutrition & Stress" can be seen every Thursday at 6:30 PM and Sundays at 3:00 PM.  This half-hour show features local nutritionist Susan Greeley describing the link between nutrition and stress, as well as tips to eat healthy to excel in school, sports and in college.

"Drinking, Driving & the Law" can be seen on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 6:30 PM. Attorney Peter H. Lederman, in photo, addressed senior health classes on the affect of alcohol, underage drinking laws, court proceedings and legal consequences.

Following their presentations, Westfield High School Health Educator, Susan Kolesar, stated, "We are fortunate to have had two accomplished professionals in their respective fields come in to share their experience and knowledge with our Health 12 students.  The topics that our speakers addressed are relevant for our entire community."
