Press Release: Y Announces Special Programs for Adults
Programs include stress management and crocheting.
The Westfield Area Y has expanded programs for active older adults this fall that will include special workshops for adults offered at the Main Y facility, 220 Clark Street in Westfield, unless otherwise indicated.
Mark your calendars! September's workshops are as follows:
"Workshop on Stress Management Techniques"- This is a FREE hour long workshop to introduce techniques of stretching and meditation which will reduce stress and quiet the mind. Full participation is required for this workshop. Please wear comfortable clothing. Workshop will be held in the Kellogg Room on Friday, September 24th from 12:20 pm – 1:20 pm.

"Basic Crocheting Workshop" – If you are interested in learning how to crochet, this is the workshop for you! Join Roe Graziano in Conference Room 1 on Thursday, September 30th from 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm for an introduction to basic crocheting techniques. Bring your own needles and yarn if you like. There is no fee to attend.
