Property Damage, Identity Theft, Warrant Arrest Reported In Westfield
Westfield Police released its blotter for the past week.

WESTFIELD, NJ — Property damage, identity theft, and a warrant arrest were reported recently in Westfield.
Westfield Police Blotter – Feb. 22 to 28:
On Feb. 23 at 3:45 p.m.: A resident of the 100 block of Massachusetts Street reported damage to the grass along the curbline of his home. The resident pointed out tire tracks leading to the damage to the grass.

On Feb. 24 at 4:24 p.m.: A resident of the 300 block of Tuttle Parkway reported identity theft. The resident stated he went to renew his driver's license at the DMV and discovered that someone had used his information and put another address on his license.
On Feb. 25 at 12:10 p.m.: A resident of the 200 block of Massachusetts Street reported possible identity theft. The resident stated they have been receiving mail forwarded to their address, which includes unwanted mail since July 2025, for bitcoin.

On Feb. 28 at 3:31 a.m.: Glenn Nelson, 41, Pemberton, was placed under arrest in the area of West North Avenue and Hort Street under the strength of a warrant out of the Mountainside Municipal Court for $1,000. He was released on his own recognizance.
