Electric Scooter, Pickup Truck Crash In Westfield
The crash was reported on Monday morning at South Avenue West and Tuttle Parkway Bridge in Westfield.
WESTFIELD, NJ — A woman was hospitalized after her electric scooter and a pickup truck crashed on Monday morning in Westfield.
On Dec. 11 at around 6:57 a.m., a crash was reported on South Avenue West and Tuttle Parkway Bridge involving a Dodge Pickup and an electric scooter both driving eastbound on W. South Avenue, said Westfield Police Sgt. Michael Walsh.
The operator of the scooter was a 21-year-old female resident of Fanwood who was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital due to head injuries.

The driver of the Dodge pickup was a 58-year-old male resident of Westfield.
The crash remains under investigation.
