Shooting At TGI Fridays Sends 1 To Hospital In Union County
Breaking: An Irvington man was hospitalized with serious injuries following a shooting at a TGI Fridays in Linden Saturday, police report.

LINDEN, NJ — A shooting at TGI Fridays in Union County sent an Irvington man to the hospital with serious injuries late Saturday night.
Linden Police responded to the restaurant at 400 South Park Ave. around 11:15 p.m. where they found the 44-year-old victim in the parking lot, Linden Police Lt. Christopher Guenther said.
The victim was transported to Newark University Hospital with serious injuries. There were no other injuries reported.

Detectives worked through the night, and this incident remains under investigation, Guenther said.
"Violence and fear will never be tolerated in our community," said Linden Police Chief Jonathan Parham. "We will continue to work tirelessly to protect those who live, work, and visit Linden."
