On Sunday, February 23rd at Crossroads in Garwood, Sound Station will be hosting their second – of what they hope to be an ongoing series – of all ages matinees. These matinees are open to people of all ages, which our area is in desperate need of, and will feature notable New Jersey and immediate local area artists and bands.
For this second show, Sound Station will focus on ROCK – PERIOD.
There will be no “cover bands”. Although the bands may throw in a cover or two in their sets, these bands play all original material! When people hear “all ages” they sometimes think of a show featuring high school bands. While doing their best to include a band or two of local High School acts, Sound Station shows will simply focus on area bands of note, giving the under-age community safe access to a scene that would normally exclude them.

This ROCK show will feature DonGiovanni recording artists Black Wine headlining, followed by Viva La Hara Record’s Eastern Anchors. They will be followed by Extras Inc., Tri State, Dollar Store Riot, Terrible Terrible playing their second “official” show, The Grains, and Dutch Boys opening at 2:00 pm sharp.
This event will be only $8.00 at the door. That’s only a buck per band! Door money will be distributed directly to the bands. These bands do not have to sell tickets or worry about “bringing the most people”. No stress over “paying to play," just do what they do in front of an enthusiastic, appreciative audience.
