Spring Into Fitness To Bring Wellness Event To Downtown Westfield
The April 25 event in downtown Westfield will feature local studios, speakers, food samples and a live DJ.
WESTFIELD, NJ — The Downtown Westfield Corporation will bring fitness classes, wellness talks and food samples to Quimby Street on Saturday, April 25, from 12 to 3 p.m. as part of its Spring Into Fitness event.
The afternoon program marks the first event of this year’s Open Quimby season, with Quimby Street closed to traffic to create a town square-style space in the downtown.
The event will feature a simultaneous schedule of sample classes and wellness sessions led by local studios.

Programming is planned both on Quimby Street and inside nearby studios, allowing participants to move between locations and try different offerings. Participants must sign up directly through each studio for classes.
Studios listed by the organization are Brassy Buddha Yoga Studio, Rumble Boxing, Club Pilates, Satsang Yoga, Superfly and Harmony Meditation.

In-studio sessions are planned at Brassy Buddha Yoga Studio, Rumble Boxing, Satsang Yoga and Superfly.
Outdoor sessions on Quimby Street are planned with Club Pilates and Harmony Meditation, along with live wellness talks and demonstrations from participating speakers.
Those speakers include Cherise Mazur of Brassy Buddha Yoga Studio on nutrition and hormone health, Julie Goldman of Superfly on core strength, and Sarah Frio of All & Everything Health on cortisol and stress management.
The event is also set to include a live DJ, samples from Masalamex, Reves Smoothie Café, and Fresh & Co., plus health and wellness products and activations.
Patricia & Paul will host an "Olive Oil 101" experience with guided tastings during the day.

"We’re fortunate to have such a strong mix of fitness and wellness businesses here, and this event is a great way to bring them together, showcase what they offer, and invite the community to experience it firsthand."

It also fosters a sense of connection and community, while giving people the opportunity to explore different options and learn what works best for them," said Cherise Mazur, Integrative Health Coach of Brassy Buddha Yoga Studio.
Spring Into Fitness also launches a weekly series that will continue every Saturday beginning May 2 in Foundation Park. The Downtown Westfield Corporation said those classes will be free and open to the public. More information is available at www.westfieldtoday.com.
