WESTFIELD, NJ — The week of June 12 is set to be a busy one in Westfield with multiple meetings/events planned.
School Board

The meeting will include a report by the District Administration of the 2023-2028 Draft Strategic Plan Goals and Objectives and a charge in two employee positions. Assistant Principal at Franklin Elementary School Mary McCabe with a salary of $112,551 is changing to Principal of McKinley Elementary School with a salary of $134,000.
Principal of McKinley Elementary School LaNova Schall with a salary of $134,000 is changing to Principal of Edison Intermediate School with a salary of $145,000.

Town Council
The Town Council is set to meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 13 at the municipal building, 425 East Broad St., Westfield. On the agenda is a resolution to appoint a medical director for the Westfield Police Department and a capital ordinance for various public improvement projects in town totaling $540,066 to be appropriated from the Capital Improvement Fund.
Pride Month Celebration
Westfield's Pride Month celebration will be held on Tuesday, June 13. The Pride flag will be raised at Town Hall at 5 p.m., which will be followed by a walk to the rainbow crosswalks with refreshments and music on Quimby Street.
