Summit Woman Eliminated On ABC's 'Golden Bachelor'
Contestant Anna was among the women featured in the first episode of The Golden Bachelor, which aired on Thursday night.

SUMMIT, NJ — A Union County woman was among the women who appeared on night one of ABC's first-ever "Golden Bachelor" season, which focuses on a mature love celebrating the "golden years."
Anna, age 61, a retired nutritionist of Summit, is among the 22 women vying for 71-year-old Gerry Turner's heart.
During her first appearance, Anna asks Jerry (the Bachelor) if he wants to get the "hell out of here?" before they run to a limo as a joke.

Unfortunately, Anna was among six women to be eliminated in the premiere. Anna wasn't the only New Jersey native to be eliminated as Maria, 60, a health and wellness director from Teaneck was also cut.
Theresa, 69, a financial specialist from Shrewsbury, did receive a rose and will continue to compete for Jerry's heart.

The series of 'The Golden Bachelor' airs on Thursday nights on ABC and is also available for streaming on Hulu.
