Traveling Choir to Sing in Westfield

The traveling Choir of Groton School will make St. Paul's its last stop on their mid-Atlantic tour where they will sing Lenten Evernsong

Westfield, NJ -- A group of traveling high school students will sing their hearts out at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Westfield on March 8 at 6 p.m.

The traveling Choir of Groton School of Groton, MA will make St. Paul’s its last stop on a mid-Atlantic tour where they performed in Pennsylvannia, Washinton, D.C., and Virginia.

The choir will sing a Lenten Evensong at St. Paul’s featuring choral music by leading 17th Century English composer William Smith; Irish-born composer Sir Charles Villiers Stanford; 20th Century British composer Herbert Sumsion; and American composer Richard Wayne Dirksen.

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church is located at 414 East Broad Street in Westfield (near Euclid Avenue and across from Town Hall). Evensong is offered free to the general public. Area parking is also free.
