WESTFIELD, NJ - Whether you are running for fun, or to work off that Thanksgiving meal Westfield’s 35th annual “Turkey Trot” and “Practice Hard Mile” race will give you a pair options to choose from.
According to organizers, the Turkey Trot is not only a great distance run for seasoned athletes, but the perfect first time event for weekend warriors or a healthy day out for families.
The race will be held at Tamaques Park on Saturday with a 1-mile run at 10:30 a.m. and a five-mile race at 11:15 a.m. Race day registration begins at 9 a.m. and the awards ceremony will be held at 12:30 p.m. Visit www.westfieldturkeytrot.com/ to register.
