The Union County Hazardous Materials Response Team responded due to the presence of propylene glycol, which is a heat transfer fluid that runs through pipes to maintain the ice temperature.
The team deemed there to be no threat to the community.
The building's utilities have been secured.
The cause of the collapse is yet to be confirmed, but authorities believe heavy snow was a factor.
